[*][4] Door Chime ON or Off

When activated, this functionality prompts the keypad to emit an audible tone whenever a zone designated as a Chime type is either opened or closed. By pressing [*][4], users can effortlessly toggle between enabling and disabling this feature according to their preference. The configuration of the door chime attribute for individual zones is accomplished within the parameters of section [861]-[876], which encompass subsections [101]-[228].

Moreover, users have the option to assign a function key to enable or disable this feature with ease. Detailed instructions regarding the programming of function keys can be found in the “Keypad Function Keys” section on page 37 of the user manual. It’s worth noting that utilizing this feature may necessitate the use of an access code. Refer to “[023] System Option 11” on page 95, option 7, for comprehensive details regarding access code requirements.
