Check your Alarm memory on a DSC NEO
The alarm memory feature on alarm panels is a feature used to check which zones of the system has gone into an alarm state in its previous arming cycle. Most systems can give you a more in-depth report which is called the event log, which can be accessed with the right keypad under the [*][6] command, but the majority of the time its easier just to make use of the alarm memory feature to see an immediate result.
[*][3] Alarm Memory Display – How to check the alarm memory feature?
The Memory light flashes if an alarm, tamper or fault event occurred during the last armed period or while the panel was dis armed (24 hour zones). Press [*][3] to view zones in alarm memory. To clear the memory, arm and disarm the system. When viewing alarms in memory, LCD keypads indicate the last zone that has gone into alarm first, followed by other alarms in numerical order.
Functionality:
When an alarm occurs (e.g., a motion sensor detects movement or a door contact is breached), the system records this event. The alarm memory keeps track of these triggered zones.
Accessing Alarm Memory:
