How to use your Programmable Outputs
The [*][7] command allows us to toggle or switch outputs on the main board, and can be used for all types of things. You can switch lights on with the help of relays or you can use 12Vdc strobe lights or Use relays to open or switch 3rd party equipment. The panel activates any PGM assigned to the command output, and is a manual way to control the panel outputs to from the keypad to engage or interface with other equipment.
The Toggle Command allows us manual control over various devices and equipment. Here are some use cases or examples:
- Light Switching (Dangerous – Do at own risk):
- Use relays connected to the panel’s outputs to toggle lights on or off.
- Whether it’s indoor lights, outdoor floodlights, or decorative lighting, the Toggle Command gives you direct control.
- Strobe Lights:
- Connect 12Vdc strobe lights to the panel’s outputs.
- Strobe lights can be useful for visual alerts, emergency signaling, or security purposes.
- Third-Party Equipment:
- Use relays to interface with third-party equipment.
- For example, you can control garage doors, gates, or other devices.
- PGM Activation:
- The panel activates any PGM (Programmable Output) assigned to the Toggle Command.
- This allows you to trigger specific actions or events based on your setup.
- Keypad Interaction:
- You can engage the Toggle Command directly from the keypad.
- It provides a manual way to control panel outputs.

How to use the Command output function
Press [*][7][x] -Where X is the command output number on the board from 1 to 4. If the command output Code Required is enabled you will also need to enter a valid master user code.
PGM Output Programming
[*][7][1][2][3][4][x].
- *7 – The command number
- 1234 – Your valid master code.
- x – is a number from Output Number 1 to number 4, which is situated on the main panel board.
Keep in mind that the PGM type for output needs to be preprogrammed for this to work, and the output needs to be assigned to a partition. The command output of the panel can also be triggered from Apps. That enables us to open gates, switch on LED lights or strobes from our phones. Things like garage motors, gate motors or enable other panels by key switch zone.
